Shelly has been a therapist since 1992. She started massaging athletes at Penn State while studying athletic training. She specializes in treating injuries and chronic pain, whether from overuse or trauma. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She holds a teaching degree and conducts classes for both professional therapists and public audiences. Her international clientele benefit from her long experience and personal athletic achievements.
Sheila’s 20 years in healthcare confirms her commitment to holistic wellness and sustainable business practices and community stewardship. As such, Shelly and Sheila became one of 6 founding members of the Green Spa Network, setting the standard for Green spas in North America. All the products she buys for internal use and public sale in the Spa store are organic and uphold the highest standards for quality and sustainability.
David was trained as a neuro-muscular therapist and takes great pride in working with clients that present specific injuries and challenges beyond the relaxation massage. While he can relieve your stress, he can also release specific tension and holding patterns that arise from trauma or injury. David has performed as a percussionist and enjoys reading and professional sports. David began working for the Spa in 2006.
Lin moved to Vermont after working at spas in Texas for 25 years to enjoy the peace and serenity of a Vermont Lifestyle. Lin is trained in many areas of bodywork including Deep Tissue and Aromatherapy but prefers relaxation massage and performing wonderful body treatments in our tranquil wet room. Lin began working for the Spa in 2007.
Janette has been a member of our staff since 2007 and continues to expand her career from Massage Therapist to Esthetician, Nail Technician and is now offering Psychosynthesis. She enjoys the variety and also specilaizes in Thai Massage and Zero Balancing energy work. She lives in Vermont with her family and enjoys kayaking in her spare time.
Oriana is a Reiki Master and oncology therapist. She enjoys working with clients who are interested in effecting change with energy and a full body approach. She also does deep tissue and full body relaxation massage. She lives in Vermont and enjoys reading and nature.
Nicole is dedicated to bringing superior change in your skin through organic botanicals that bring your skin to it’s optimal condition. She is also a master at hair removal giving her clients the utmost in comfort and cleanliness. Her many years of experience and her desire to bring her best to you is a stellar combination. Nicole lives in Vermont and enjoys her children and being outdoors.
Manny is a very caring and engaged therapist working with your body to restore balance. He enjoys working with chronic pain to effect positive change and relaxation in tandem. He is also a master with hot shells to soften and relax tight and sore muscles. Manny lives in Vermont and loves snowboarding making furniture and carpentry in general.
Aaron loves bodywork for all kinds of issues. He combines deep tissue and myo-fascial techniques to effect change in the tissues. He prefers to work with the body’s messages to create a symbiotic pattern of healing that is deep but comfortable. He lives in Vermont and is an avid rock climber.
In his practice, Mason uses moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and nutritional counseling alongside acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, to provide the most effective and individualized care possible for each of his patients. He is an avid outdoorsman with a love for hiking, camping, fly-fishing, and anything else that gets him into nature. Mason belongs to the Vermont Acupuncture Association and is an active member of the Board of Directors for the Himalaya Project, a nonprofit working to establish a school of traditional medicine in Dolpo, Nepal.
